Yesterday was the first day I put shoe to treadmill according to my training schedule. It was nice to know that I have the next 144 days' workouts mapped out for me... :) I ran three miles at the NDSU wellness center because the YMCA has been giving us the run-around for days now... it's getting rather annoying... but, that's besides the point. After the (shorter than average) run, I lifted weights for my legs and then did a bit of elliptical machine. It was just dandy... and I must add that all of this occurred at 6:30 a.m. (ON HOLIDAY VACATION)... so, it was a bit of a proud moment :) Today, I will be running 5 miles (according to my training sheet) and this will, again, be completed up at NDSU because the Y still has failed to contact us... grr.. Oh, and did I mention that it's snowing... again!?!.. yeah, it is.
