today mikey and i hit the gym... the local YMCA that's about a mile and a half from our house. That was my holiday gift: a membership to the Y... as it's far too cold to run outside and I also need to be doing some weight training to ensure that my muscles can take all the strain of running. Thursday we did a nice chest/upper body workout (which, I may add, I am still very sore from). Unfortunately, we got to the gym 15 minutes after it closed and had to take the day off. We were back at it today and even though I only had time to put in 4 miles on the treadmill, it felt nice to be back on track. We will be back tomorrow, but since it's a weights day, the running will be minimal, if at all.
